The human touch
I'm a self-taught full-stack software developer with over three consecutive years of employed experience. After decades in inventory management, accounting, sales, and similar positions, I chose to pursue software development because I wanted to solve the user workflow problems I previously felt imprisoned by.
In my time at my previous employer, I developed user-friendly solutions for a wide array of complex business needs. I quickly become the lead for our domestic team while continuing to work full time on what I enjoy most: solving problems for people.
I have performed contract work that required me to create a UI that dynamically reflected an often-changing product structure, create cloud infrastructure, support JWT authentication, and create automated user-facing email campaigns.
During my experience as a software developer, one thing has become very clear: despite all of our advancements in technology and machine learning, the human touch is the key element—in software solutions, in product understanding, and in teams.
